Four Winds Equine Hospital is able to offer most routine elective surgeries as provided by MESA (Michigan Equine Surgical Associates). In addition, the hospital offers a variety of cosmetic surgery options, including cosmetic closure of eyelid, nasal, facial, and lower leg lacerations.
Surgeries offered, but not limited to, include:
- Arthroscopic joint surgery with top-of-the-line equipment by Stryker
- Routine castrations and cryptorchids
- Angular limb deformation in foals and check ligament desmotomies
- Hernia repair
- Throat surgery
