Lameness diagnosis and treatment are the cornerstones of our practice. We employ an array of new diagnostic equipment, such as digital ultrasound, digital X-ray, and a digital thermographic camera. Regular use of these technologies allows us to achieve familiarity with normal and abnormal conditions, leading to more accurate diagnosis.

Four Winds Farrier Services include corrective shoeing and trimming for laminitis, white line hoof-wall resections, and other complicated foot conditions, provided by Richard Becker, past president of the Michigan Farrier Association. He is a current member of the U.S. Blacksmith Team. Dick works well with local blacksmiths for consultation and follow-up care.
Dr. Braeutigam can also arrange chiropractic services by a licensed professional if the need arises.
